Payment method
- You can pay by credit card, cash,
cheque or an email transfer within 24 hours after the session.
Insurance coverage
Counselling
is not covered by Alberta Health Care; however, as a fully credentialed registered social worker, my services are reimbursable
by all extended health care plans that provide coverage for counselling provided by a registered social worker. The
amount that you will be reimbursed depends upon the terms of your plan.
Tax Deduction
- Counselling
is a tax deductible medical expense, according to the same rules that govern your ability to deduct other medical and dental
expenses.
Health Spending Accounts
- Services can be claimed under Health
Spending Account guidelines. Health Spending Accounts commonly allow reimbursement of services of a "Medical Practitioner".
